The pool is a great size and well looked after. We loved the outdoor kitchen. Paola and Angelo made us feel very welcome. We’d love to come back and stay even longer. The villa is absolutely stunning, with large outdoor areas with different sones, outdoor activities such as badminton, soccer, things for the pool and total privacy. The location of the villa is private, but also short drives to gorgeous wineries and small Tuscan towns. The kitchen is well equipped and all rooms are super clean, big and with private bathrooms. The bar by the pool has a fridge and freezer. Paola and Angelo even leave fruits and veggies from the garden for us, and Paola even made an amazing tiramisu (SO GOOD!). Paola also gave us a lot of recommendations, such as the local pasta shop, butcher, different restaurants and wineries. I highly recommend having chef Dimitri come to the villa for a dinner. Pangea needs to be experienced to truly understand how great an experience it is. Lots of love and gratitude from us. Die Villa ist absolut atemberaubend, mit großen Außenbereichen mit verschiedenen Sounds, Outdoor-Aktivitäten wie Badminton, Fußball, Sachen für den Pool und absoluter Privatsphäre. Die Lage der Villa ist privat, aber auch kurze Fahrten zu wunderschönen Weingütern und kleinen toskanischen Städten. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und alle Zimmer sind super sauber, groß und mit eigenem Bad. Die Bar am Pool hat einen Kühlschrank und einen Gefrierschrank. Paola und Angelo haben uns sogar Obst und Gemüse aus dem Garten dagelassen und Paola hat sogar ein fantastisches Tiramisu gemacht (SO GUT!). Paola hat uns auch viele Empfehlungen gegeben, wie zum Beispiel den örtlichen Pastaladen, Metzger, verschiedene Restaurants und Weingüter. Ich kann nur empfehlen, Chefkoch Dimitri zum Abendessen in die Villa zu holen. Pangea muss man erlebt haben, um wirklich zu verstehen, was für eine großartige Erfahrung es ist. La comunicazione con Paola sia prima che durante il nostro soggiorno è stata molto buona. La villa è assolutamente splendida, con ampi spazi esterni con diversi sones, attività all'aperto come badminton, calcio, cose per la piscina e privacy totale. La posizione della villa è privata, ma anche a breve distanza in auto da splendide cantine e piccole città toscane. La cucina è ben attrezzata e tutte le camere sono super pulite, grandi e con bagno privato. Il bar a bordo piscina è dotato di frigo e freezer. Paola e Angelo ci lasciano anche frutta e verdura dall'orto, e Paola ha anche preparato un fantastico tiramisù (così BUONO!). Paola ci ha anche dato molti consigli, come il negozio di pasta locale, il macellaio, diversi ristoranti e cantine. Consiglio vivamente di invitare lo chef Dimitri a venire nella villa per una cena. She brought us fresh cherries, deserts, olive oil, wine. We will definitely stay with her again next time in Tuscany. Her house is as private & peaceful as it gets. Well maintained yard with plenty of flowers and a nice pool, sorrounded by nature. The hosts are nice people, they were helpful and made us feel like at home. The villa itself was a good size, well equipped and the outside spaces including the kitchen area, dining and seating areas were comfortable and plenty big enough for us all to relax. The pool and bar were great with plenty of seating/lounging space and furniture. The outside games area provided lots of choice and entertainment and would be great for people of all ages. This was a family holiday with an 8 month old baby, Paola communicated well regarding the cot, high chair and room choice for the baby, there was also a bouncer available for use. Paola also sent lots of information regarding local restaurants, wine tasting etc which was really helpful. Check in and check out instructions were clear. Paola was also really thoughtful and made us a tiramisu and gave us some baby food pouches which was lovely. Dies war ein Familienurlaub mit einem 8 Monate alten Baby. Paola hat uns gut über das Kinderbett, den Hochstuhl und die Zimmerauswahl für das Baby informiert, es gab auch eine Babywippe zur Nutzung. Paola schickte auch viele Informationen über lokale Restaurants, Weinproben usw., was sehr hilfreich war. Die Anweisungen zum Ein- und Auschecken waren klar. Paola war auch sehr aufmerksam und machte uns ein Tiramisu und gab uns ein paar Babynahrungsbeutel, was sehr schön war. Questa era una vacanza in famiglia con un bambino di 8 mesi, Paola ha comunicato bene riguardo alla scelta del lettino, del seggiolone e della stanza per il bambino, c'era anche una sdraietta a disposizione. Paola ha anche inviato molte informazioni su ristoranti locali, degustazioni di vino, ecc., il che è stato davvero utile. Le istruzioni per il check-in e il check-out erano chiare. We completely loved everything about this villa. It was perfect. So relaxing and peaceful. Paula and Angelo were super hosts with an excellent handover in person on arrival and Paula was at the end of a text with prompt responses to any questions we had during our stay. Het is echt een prachtige oase en de eigenaren zijn supervriendelijk. Op het terrein zijn er allerlei mogelijkheden voor spelletjes, er is een prachtig zwembad dat elke dag wordt onderhouden. Het huis ligt wel wat afgelegen dus als je iets wilt ondernemen dan zul je de auto in moeten. Een supermarkt kun je vinden op 15 min afstand. Paola de eigenaresse heeft meerdere malen tijdens de vakantie lekkere pastasaus en tiramisu gebracht, echt top! Ook ligt op 3 km lopen een prachtig kasteel Potentino waar je wijn kunt proeven maar ze hebben er van alles. Kortom, als je lekker veel bij het zwembad wil liggen, wil wandelen in de natuur en af en toe een uitstapje wil maken naar een wijnhuis of stadje dan is deze plek echt een aanrader!                 English > We stayed in this house with two families with young children (between 3-5 years). It really is a beautiful oasis and the owners are super friendly. On site there are all kinds of possibilities for games, there is a beautiful swimming pool that is maintained every day. The house is a bit remote so if you want to do something you will have to take the car. A supermarket can be found 15 minutes away. Paola the owner brought delicious pasta sauce and tiramisu several times during the holiday, really great! Also a 3 km walk away is a beautiful castle Potentino where you can taste wine but they have everything. In short, if you want to lie by the pool a lot, want to walk in nature and occasionally want to make a trip to a winery or town, then this place is highly recommended!                 Deutsch > Wir wohnten in diesem Haus mit zwei Familien mit kleinen Kindern (zwischen 3 und 5 Jahren). Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen. Wenn Sie also etwas unternehmen möchten, müssen Sie das Auto nehmen. Einen Supermarkt erreichen Sie in 15 Minuten. Paola, die Besitzerin, hat im Urlaub mehrmals leckere Pastasauce und Tiramisu mitgebracht, wirklich toll! Ebenfalls 3 km zu Fuß entfernt befindet sich das wunderschöne Schloss Potentino, wo Sie Wein probieren können, aber es gibt alles. We have been twice now, first with friends then back with family a few years later and it’s perfect, and we’ll definitely be back again… Rooms are spacious, very clean and comfy all en-suites and lots of natural light. There are plenty of social areas outdoors and we had many days enjoying the gardens, pool and the games on offer (badminton, bocce and basketball). Eating supper on the terrace we had prepared on the outside kitchen is a perfect end to the day. The house is really well equipped and everything is well looked after. Paola and her husband are wonderful hosts, they couldn’t do enough for us, even providing a little bouncer chair for our baby. On our first trip Paola even offered to buy us breakfast as we were arriving so late. The infant/ child cot is perfect even for a 2 week stay and looked brand new. Things to do around Pangea: potentino wine tasting in an amazing castle, 5 mins drive from Pangea. Trattoria in campangia has fantastic local ‘slow food’ with a very good wine list. Olive oil tasting at fratoio franci is a must! Breakfast at the cafe beside the local Tamoil does wonderful cornetto (croissants) and cappuccino. Also has a well stocked deli and some basic dry foods.             Deutsch > Wir lieben Pangäa! Wir waren jetzt schon zweimal dort, zuerst mit Freunden, dann ein paar Jahre später wieder mit der Familie, und es ist perfekt und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen ... Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sehr sauber und komfortabel, alle mit eigenem Bad und viel Tageslicht. Es gibt viele soziale Bereiche im Freien und wir hatten viele Tage damit, die Gärten, den Pool und die angebotenen Spiele (Badminton, Boccia und Basketball) zu genießen. Das Abendessen auf der Terrasse, die wir in der Außenküche zubereitet haben, ist der perfekte Abschluss des Tages. Das Haus ist wirklich gut ausgestattet und alles ist gepflegt. Paola und ihr Mann sind wundervolle Gastgeber, sie konnten nicht genug für uns tun und stellten sogar einen kleinen Hüpfstuhl für unser Baby zur Verfügung. Bei unserer ersten Reise bot Paola sogar an, uns Frühstück zu kaufen, da wir so spät ankamen. Das Baby-/Kinderbett ist selbst für einen zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt perfekt und sieht brandneu aus. Unternehmungen rund um Pangaea: Verkostung von Potentino-Weinen in einem beeindruckenden Schloss, 5 Autominuten von Pangäa entfernt. Die Trattoria in Campangia bietet fantastisches lokales „Slow Food“ mit einer sehr guten Weinkarte. Eine Olivenölverkostung bei Fratoio Franci ist ein Muss! Zum Frühstück gibt es im Café neben dem örtlichen Tamoil wunderbare Cornetto (Croissants) und Cappuccino. Es gibt auch einen gut sortierten Feinkostladen und einige grundlegende Trockennahrungsmittel.             Italiano > Adoriamo Pangea! Siamo stati due volte adesso, prima con gli amici poi di nuovo con la famiglia qualche anno dopo ed è perfetto, e torneremo sicuramente di nuovo… Le camere sono spaziose, molto pulite e confortevoli, tutte con bagno privato e molta luce naturale. Ci sono molte aree sociali all'aperto e abbiamo trascorso molti giorni godendoci i giardini, la piscina e i giochi offerti (badminton, bocce e basket). Cenare sulla terrazza che avevamo preparato nella cucina esterna è una perfetta conclusione della giornata. La casa è davvero ben attrezzata e tutto è ben curato. Paola e suo marito sono dei padroni di casa eccezionali, non hanno potuto fare abbastanza per noi, fornendo anche una piccola sdraietta per il nostro bambino. Durante il nostro primo viaggio Paola si è persino offerta di comprarci la colazione dato che arrivavamo così tardi. La culla per neonati/bambini è perfetta anche per un soggiorno di 2 settimane e sembrava nuova di zecca. Cose da fare nei dintorni di Pangea: degustazione di vino potentino in un meraviglioso castello, a 5 minuti di macchina da Pangea. Trattoria in campangia ha un fantastico "slow food" locale con un'ottima lista di vini. La degustazione di olio d'oliva al fratoio franci è d'obbligo! La colazione al bar accanto al locale Tamoil fa un meraviglioso cornetto (croissant) e cappuccino. The pool was the highlight of our stay but the football/basketball areas were very good too. Paola sent really good guides for local restaurants and shops. Paola and Angelo were the perfect hosts. Das Haus ist super schön, modern eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Insbesondere in der Küche gibt es absolut alles was man braucht und die Betten sind auch sehr bequem. Es gibt außerdem auch eine tolle Außenküche mit Grill und ab und zu schaut die nette Katze von Paola vorbei und sagt hallo. Das Gelände ist riesig und absolut privat, man kann baden, Fußball oder Volleyball spielen und es gibt Badminton Schläger und Boule. Der einzige "Nachteil" ist, dass das Haus wirklich sehr abgelegen in einem Tal liegt und man deshalb ohne Auto nirgendwo hin kommt. Andererseits ist es dadurch wirklich sehr ruhig und privat und man kann in der Umgebung auch sehr schön wandern. Paola war für uns eine sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeberin und wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.             English > Paola's house is an incredibly great villa with a fantastic pool, which was heated to a pleasant 27°C especially for us in May, which made it very pleasant for us to swim even when the weather was mixed. We use Airbnb all around th world, and this would be very near the top of our experiences. We visited in October and the heated pool was fantastic, the kids spent hours and hours in there. The pool bar and numerous loungers were a very classy touch (sunburn in October!!). Everything is well provisioned and you won’t want for anything in regard to kitchen equipment or anything else for that matter. The outdoor cooking / kitchen space is amazing, with firewood replenished daily. The spaces are so well thought out, there is a location for every activity or sun direction. Beds are super comfy and stunning bathrooms in each room a real luxury. Paola and her husband are lovely hosts, very attentive. There when you need them (live a few hundred meters away), but allow complete privacy. They providing some of their own jam, wine and olive oil, as well as giving access to a pretty unreal fruit and veg Gardens. We’ll be back for sure. Paola und Angelo sind herzlich und kümmern sich selbst um das Haus und den Umschwung. Sie haben einfach an alles gedacht. Steckdosen und Beleuchtung finden sich im und ausserhalb des Hauses (auch am Pool), Solarpanels, Aussendusche und Trinkwasser, Klimaanlagen in allen Zimmern des Hauses. Alles funktional und praktisch. Die tollen Gastgeber haben uns täglich mit frischem Gemüse aus dem Gemüsegarten im Areal verwöhnt. Ein grosses Dankeschön an euch beide für alles! We were how to enjoy the villa and take care of it while we were there. We got a welcome gift, which was really appreciated. Check out was equally easy. The pool and everything was very clean upon our arrival. The pool was cleaned every day and the garden watered. The villa was nice and air conditioning was working perfectly: our nights were very comfortable. There was more than enough space for our group (4 adults). The highlight for us was the outdoor setup. We had access to a BBQ, the beautiful pool, a bar by the pool, a big dining table and an area to chill on the couches away from the sun. There was also a baby foot table which kept us entertained. The villa is situated in a secluded place. It’s very quiet. The views are limited, being surrounded by trees. There are no big cities close by and you have to use your car whenever you need something. Paola was a great host. She helped us book restaurants, provided us with advices and was always quick to answer our messages. She even treated us to some homemade appetizers and a tiramisu cake before we left. As for possible improvements, I would suggest adding some tools for the kitchen. For instance, measuring spoons and cups, plastic glass for around the pool, garlic crusher, etc. Also, the sheets in the bedroom could have been more comfortable. I would highly recommend Pangea Villa and its host for anyone looking for a stress free, very pleasant vacation.                    Deutsch > Die Pangea Villa war ein großartiger Ort, um sich zu entspannen und die großartige Einrichtung im Freien zu genießen. Es gab auch einen Babyfußtisch, der uns unterhalten hat. Die Villa liegt an einem abgelegenen Ort. Es ist sehr leise. Die Aussicht ist begrenzt, da sie von Bäumen umgeben ist. Es gibt keine großen Städte in der Nähe und Sie müssen Ihr Auto benutzen, wann immer Sie etwas brauchen. Paola war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Il momento clou per noi è stata l'installazione all'aperto. Abbiamo avuto accesso a un barbecue, alla bellissima piscina, un bar a bordo piscina, un grande tavolo da pranzo e un'area per rilassarsi sui divani lontano dal sole. C'era anche un tavolino per bambini che ci ha tenuti occupati. La villa è situata in un luogo appartato. È molto silenzioso. Le viste sono limitate, essendo circondato da alberi. Non ci sono grandi città nelle vicinanze e devi usare la tua auto ogni volta che hai bisogno di qualcosa. Paola è stata una grande schiera. Ci ha aiutato a prenotare ristoranti, ci ha fornito consigli ed è stata sempre pronta a rispondere ai nostri messaggi. Das Haus ist auf einem sehr grossem Grundstück (6'000qm), das vor allem für Kinder optimal ist (inklusive Fussballplatz, Boccia-Bahn, Federballplatz). Das Anwesen wird von den Vermieter perfekt gepflegt und ist konsequent mit hohen Zäunen/Tor abgesichert. Das Haus selbst ist relativ neu (Baujahr 2016), wirkt aber traditonell und gemütlich. Alles ist in sehr hoher Bauqualität und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und ausgestattet (inklusive Klimaanlage im ganzen Haus, einer Wachküche, einem Kamin,....). Jedes der Schlafzimmer hat ein eigens Bad, das im Untergeschoss ist behindertengerecht (nachdem meine Frau eine Beinverletzung hatte, haben wir das tatsächlich in Anspruch nehmen müssen). Unsere Lieblingsplätze aber waren draussen: - ein grosser Tisch unter eine Pergola mit Aussenküche (Feuerstelle als Grill, Gasherd, Waschbecken) für die ganze Familie - da geht einem bei der Vorbereitung des Abendessens im Sonnenuntergang und Kaminfeuer bei schon das Herz auf - die überdachte Aussensitzgruppe mit Tischfussball für die Kinder - der grossartige, mit einem Zaun kindersicher eingezäunte Pool (immerhin 11m lang) mit einer tollen Poolbar (Waschbecken, 2 Kühlschränke) Alles in allem tendenziell schöne als auf den Fotos. Ein absolutes Highlight waren aber auch die exterem netten Vermieter Paola und Angelo, die nichts unversucht machen, den Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bescherern: kleine Geschenke, Tipps; sogar einen Arzttermin für meine Frau hat Paola persönlich (!) im Nachbarort vereinbart. Ein wunderbarer Urlaub, den wir sicher wiederholen!                    English > The Villa Pangea is very quiet in a small valley. The house is on a very large property (6,000 square meters), which is especially ideal for children (including a soccer field, boccia alley, badminton court). The property is perfectly maintained by the landlord and is consistently secured with high fences/gates. The house itself is relatively new (built in 2016) but looks traditional and cosy. Everything is of a very high construction quality and designed and equipped with great attention to detail (including air conditioning throughout the house, a scullery, a fireplace, ....). Each bedroom has its own bathroom, the one on the lower floor is handicap accessible (we actually had to use it after my wife had a leg injury). But our favorite places were outside: - a large table under a pergola with an outdoor kitchen (fireplace as a grill, gas stove, washbasin) for the whole family - preparing for dinner at sunset and the open fire in the fireplace will get your heart pumping - the covered outdoor seating area with table football for the children - the great pool (11m long) with a childproof fence and a great pool bar (sink, 2 fridges) All in all tends to be nicer than in the photos. An absolute highlight were the extremely nice landlords Paola and Angelo, who make every effort to ensure that the guests have a pleasant stay: small gifts, tips; Paola even arranged a doctor's appointment for my wife personally (!) in the neighboring town. La casa in sé è relativamente nuova (costruita nel 2016) ma sembra tradizionale e accogliente. Ma i nostri posti preferiti erano fuori: - un grande tavolo sotto un pergolato con una cucina all'aperto (camino come grill, fornello a gas, lavabo) per tutta la famiglia - prepararsi per la cena al tramonto e il fuoco nel camino ti farà battere il cuore - il salottino esterno coperto con calcio balilla per i bambini - la grande piscina (lunga 11 m) con recinzione a prova di bambino e un ottimo bar a bordo piscina (lavello, 2 frigoriferi) Tutto sommato tende ad essere più bello che nelle foto. Un momento clou assoluto sono stati i gentilissimi padroni di casa Paola e Angelo, che fanno ogni sforzo per garantire agli ospiti un piacevole soggiorno: piccoli regali, mance; Paola ha anche organizzato un appuntamento dal medico per mia moglie personalmente (!) nel paese vicino. The (fully fenced) Property is huge, the garden is lovingly laid out an cared for, the pool is a highlight an very large. The Villa is decorated tastefully, very clean, equipped with everything you need and every room is air-conditioned. We, my husband, our dog and I spent two wonderful weeks at Villa Pangea. We especially enjoyed the peace and quit in this breathtaking area. Paola and Angelo are very special people and perfect hosts. They made us feel like we are at home while they took care of everything. Every Morning we get freshly harvested vegetables from the garden (zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes) and herbs and lettuce we picked ourselves. So we used the great outdoor kitchen with grill every day. We have used many of Paola and Angelos recommendations (excursions and shops, the butcher was awesome!)) and were very happy and satisfied. But one recommendation was the best: Poderi Borselli processes the organic grapes from Paola and Angelo to the best organic white wine i have ever drunk. Same with the olives for the organic olive oil. We bought both and took them to Germany ... so we extended our vacation ab bit. And for future we will buy it in the online shop of Poderi Borselli. Villa nuovissima recentemente costruita con tutti i comfort, 5 bagni e aria condizionata in tutte le stanze, anche se la casa è freschissima di suo (abbiamo soggiornato periodo metà agosto per intenderci). La vera chicca del soggiorno è la piscina più grande di quel che pare in foto e il chiosco bar con frigo! A impreziosire il soggiorno gli innumerevoli giochi e attività possibili, dal biliardino, il campo da bocce, la rete da racchettoni (portati da noi) o badminton (a disposizione) campo da bocce, porte da calcio, canestro da basket... In poche parole, nonostante gli innumerevoli consigli di Paola su cantine e borghi da visitare non siamo mai riusciti ad abbandonare la villa! :) Per non parlare infine del barbecue utilizzatissimo e della disponibilità di Angelo nel farci trovare sempre la legna pronta ogni mattina! Beh, non c'è niente da fare, non bastano 5 stelle per premiare il posto e la gentilezza di Paola e Angelo. La villa è veramente un qualcosa di spettacolare, curata in ogni dettaglio, pulita, ordinata, ecologica, situata in mezzo alla natura e isolata da caos e rumore. Il costo per notte, inclusivo di colazione abbondantissima, è quello di un normale Bed & Breakfast. I padroni di casa sono da 10 stelle. Disponibili per tutto, ma anche discreti. Pieter C. – Aug 2018 - ZA - We were a group of 8 people that stayed at Pangea for 3 weeks during August. (Six adults and two children aged 8 & 11.) The House: The four bedrooms are all ensuite with individual, modern and new air-conditioning units as well as efficient, quiet ceiling fans. In addition, there are 2 air-conditioning units in the main kitchen / living area - all really appreciated during the August heatwave. The kitchen is well equipped with a functional open-plan design accessing the optional alfresco dining area. There is a wood-burning, built-in barbecue which was always fully stocked with wood by the owners. In addition, there is also an outside gas burner stove top. The television is modern and Internet-connected to a reasonable bandwidth (around 3-5 mbps). The Internet link allows Netflix and Amazon video services, if required. Pangea Villa is situated in a basin valley off a short dirt track. This makes it tranquil and remote - virtually zero traffic - whilst only a short ride from the nearest towns and shops. Outside: Huge and very well kept property (around 500 x 500 meters). Pool was kept at a constant, perfect 30 degrees temperature with a solar heating system and fully maintained daily by the owners in an early morning visit. These maintenance visit included daily vegetable harvests from the onsite garden (we once even had some black truffles!). The garden also include a multitude of herbs for cooking (thyme, rosemary, sage, mint, etc.) A sports area with football pitch, pétanque, Badminton and basketball rounds off the package. Region: The Monte Cucco Valley is relatively uncommercialized with a number of small, charming hilltop villages and fantastic, inexpensive wines. The region is really fertile and lush, with nice, wild walking trails and beautiful spaces and vistas. Finally, the owners Paulo and Angelo are excellent hosts - always friendly, caring and available. (Tripadvisor) Perfect countryside villa! - Stunning villa perfectly embedded in the countryside with great views into the nearby forest and to the hill of Montegiovi. We used the villa for eight people (including three children and one teenager) and felt it very spacious and practical (short ways to the kitchen from outside for example, comfortable entry, all spaces optimally useable for storing, hot water shower outside on the back side of the bar). Everything was as shown on the pictures, very clean and in best shape (we were maybe the fourth or fifth renters). Perfectly maintained 12m-pool with bar. The villa is best to access from Montegiovi, paved road until the last 300 m (after the bridge over the Ente river, but almost flat street section, no 4x4 needed) accessible with normal cars. Even though the lower regions of Tuscany were very hot it was very comfortable in- and outside of the villa Pangea; quite often a soft wind was blowing and temperatures were in maximum at around 30° C (second half of July). The nearby Ente river is a paradise of nature and can be used for cooling and playing around too. The toys in the huge garden were great and fully functional. The outdoor kitchen was regularly used including the grill. The house is fully climatized, the bathrooms were perfect and all windows were equipped with fly screen, therefore the inside was completely insect-free. We twice had a local inhouse-chef for cooking, which was a great pleasure. Almost every day we got vegetables from the vegetable garden on site. The surrounding vineyards are all worth visiting and have very high-quality wines (especially Hortulanus (Podere Bugnanese) and Castello di Potentino). Supermarkets are present in Arcidosso, great bakery (Corsini) in Castel del Piano. Weekly markets in surrounding towns are worth visiting and have great local products. The owner couple (Paola and Angelo) cleaned the pool every morning in the early hours when we were still sleeping. Daily water quality control for low chloride of the water, which was very comfortable avoiding red eyes especially for the children. They gave us a lot of information for sightseeing and restaurants. The garden was green even though we didn’t have much rain and it was dry at least six weeks before we arrived. We enjoyed the villa and the great garden for two weeks and hope renting it again. La villa oltre stanze con bagno personale offrono varie strutture per il divertimento, come campi da calcio, pallavolo, bocce e cun percorso per allenarsi intorno la struttura. Vi consiglio di visitare i paesi vicino a pochi km di distanza. Ve lo consiglio come posto per le vacanze anche perché c’è una bellissima piscina con bar, lettini e ombrelloni. Paola and Angelo were the perfect hosts. They were there to help when ever we needed it or had a question, but they were quiet and courteous when going about their maintenance taskes so you often never noiced that they had been! (Airbnb) An amazing place to stay - we will be back! The villa is beautiful and situated in a lovely secluded spot. It is only a short drive to local shops for anything you need. Everything was provided, and the owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. They provided fresh produce from their allotment and maintained the pool on a daily basis. They even showed us where the local shops were when we arrived later than expected on our first evening!! The villa was spotless, well equipped and spacious. It's the attention to detail and finishing touches that really made this property stand out for us. The pool can be closed off and even padlocked if you have small children, but ours were old enough that we didn't need to do this. The gardens are wonderful and full of interest. Hidden among the herbs and plants are football & badminton nets, basketball hoops and a boules court (all with flood lighting for the evening games!). Rackets and balls were also provided for everything. The kids were in heaven! The pool was lovely and warm enough that you could spend all day in it. The pool bar also had a powerful, hot outdoor shower that meant no one had to traipse back in through the villa with wet feet to get a drink or an ice cream. It's rare that a villa exceeds your expectations, but this one really did. I would recommend it to anyone! (Tripadvisor)

Our story

We are Paola and Angelo and a few years ago we began to desire a life with less frenetic rhythms and greater contact with nature. Hence the decision to go and live in the countryside and Pangea is the result of this choice: a project that we have personally and daily followed from 2013 to 2016.

The Pangea farm is located in a place called Colombaio di Potentino, formerly a hunting area belonging to the homonymous castle. Our four hectares occupy the last part of a hill a short distance from the pretty hamlet of Montegiovi. One hectare of vineyard has been planted on the hilly part, producing excellent quality Sangiovese and Vermentino grapes. The rest of the land, once cleansed of its state of neglect, highlighted a natural basin bordered on one side by an oak wood and on the other by the romantic Torrente Ente. This small oasis has become the garden of the Agriturismo at the center of which a farmhouse with a swimming pool has been built.

We designed the farmhouse, giving it the appearance of an old country house while respecting the context in which it was inserted. To achieve the new green building construction we used natural and recycled materials whenever possible. This is why the insulation is in cork, the interior paints are in lime, the natural resins and the stones are those found on the spot. The orientation of the house takes into account the sun exposure and the basic principles of feng shui. In organizing and furnishing spaces, both internal and external, we have tried to reconcile the aesthetic aspect with the practical one to offer our guests contemporary, comfortable and easy to use environments. The result is a healthy, spacious and varied home on the outside where you can enjoy the greenery that calms and regenerates and the silence interrupted only by the sounds of nature.

We personally take care of Pangea every day, with care and attention, to keep it clean and welcoming in every respect for our well-being and that of our guests. In short, Pangea is our pride.
