Heated swimming pool at your exclusive disposal. Being a seasonal pool, openings and closings may vary. It is always open between June 1st and August 31st and is always closed between November 1st and March 31st. Contact us for more information on the opening of the swimming pool in the other months (April, May, September and October). 12x6m tub for a height of 140cm fully tiled. The area around the pool is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, electrical sockets, free wifi internet connection and a shower cubicle. The poolside bar is complete with fridge, freezer, sink with hot and cold water, counter, chairs, table and stools. Night lighting. The pool area is entirely fenced and regulated by law. At check-in you will be given the keys to manage access to the swimming pool (if open) within the time slot set by the regulation. Access to the swimming pool area is forbidden during the seasonal closing periods.
WHAT TO DO
Pangea is ideal for rest, relaxation, reading and doing nothing, just take advantage of the sofas, beds and hammocks at your disposal. In the evening it is possible to observe an amazing starry sky thanks to the total absence of light pollution.
The entire garden is a natural gym for training in complete freedom and in complete privacy, a large playground to be explored by rediscovering outdoor games and activities.
Inside and outside Pangea you can practice "forest bathing", a preventive medicine practice born in Japan to reduce stress, blood pressure, heartbeat, anxiety and fatigue and to strengthen the immune system thanks to the beneficial substances released by trees (monoterpenes and phytocides) to return home completely regenerated.
Immediately outside the property you can follow various paths some of which with challenging gradients. Along the stream, in 30 minutes, you reach the suggestive locality of "Puntone" where, inside a natural canyon, the Vivo stream flows into the Ente stream. In the surroundings, following the local hunting regulations and calendars, it is possible to hunt (thrush, wild boar, roe deer, pheasant, hare) and fish (trout).

Bookable period. All the year. Four days notice required.
Deposit, balance and cancellations. 30% deposit to book by credit card on the Paypal circuit. Balance at the hotel upon check-in. Free cancellation within 15 days of check-in with refund of the deposit paid (less the expenses incurred by Pangea for the collection and refund of the deposit). Beyond this deadline, the advance paid as a penalty will be retained. Please only notify us of any cancellation as early as possible to give us the opportunity to rent to others.
Security deposit. Euro 100 per person from 0 to 99 years. To be paid at check-in also with pre-authorization on a credit card.
Check-in. Is scheduled between 18.00 and 19.00. It is possible to arrange arrival before 6.00 pm (between 4 pm and 7 pm) only if there will be no check-out on the same day. The check-in operations consist of: the delivery of the keys to the villa, the swimming pool (if open), the payment of the tourist tax, supplements and the security deposit, the compilation and signing of the contractual documentation if not yet processed electronically.
Check-out. Is expected by 10.00. Check-out operations consist of: in the delivery of the keys, checking the state of the structure which will start at least 10 minutes before, paying extra costs (when due), returning the security deposit. From the security deposit, a contribution for the final cleaning costs may be deducted if they are particularly onerous and the costs for restoring any damage found.

How to get there. Recommended route. Enter MONTEGIOVI in the province of Grosseto on the navigator. After turning for Montegiovi, follow the Pangea signs (not the navigator) and never leave the paved descent to the bridge over the Ente where you will find the last Pangea sign.
Pangea can also be an excellent starting point for trips and excursions in the surrounding area.
The most famous destinations
The Val d'Orcia and its municipalities are undoubtedly: Montalcino (31km-37min.), Castiglione d'Orcia (16km-27min.), Pienza (33km-48min.), Radicofani (42km-53min.), San Quirico d'Orcia (25Km-39min.). Not to be missed: the ancient church of Santa Maria Maddalena in Castiglione d'Orcia, the splendid Abbey of Sant'Antimo between Montalcino and Castelnuovo dell'Abate, the small village of Monticchiello near that urban-architectural jewel of Pienza, the Rocca and the Romanesque church of San Pietro a Radicofani, the Collegiate Church of Santi Quirico and Giuditta in San Quirico d'Orcia. The Val d'Orcia is above all Landscape with its hills, its cypress trees, its gullies its rivers and its Brunello vineyards. The "Tuscan" landscape par excellence. A landscape so perfect as to be recognized, in 2004, as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The nearest destinations
Canyon Puntone where the Vivo stream enters the Ente stream (the one that flows in front of Pangea). After the parking lot you have to walk in the woods for about 150 meters. People with their passage created an easy track. Obviously if you decide to go on foot, you can shorten the route through the non-reciting fields if you don't have problems with some climbs. Mount Amiata (20Km-35min.) Is the ideal destination for lovers of walking on foot or on horseback, trekking and mountain biking with many routes of different levels and difficulties, naturalistic or cultural, panoramic or training. The view from the summit is among the largest in central Italy. For children aged 9 and older we recommend the Indiana Park Amiata Adventure Park. The historic villages of the Municipalities of Amiata. They represent a dive into the Middle Ages to discover numerous places of artistic interest. Do not miss the Abbey of Abbadia San Salvatore, the Rocca Aldobrandesca in Piancastagnaio, the altarpiece "La Madonna delle Ciliegie" by Ambrogio Lorenzetti in the church of Saints Peter and Paul in Roccalbegna, the Pieve ad Lamulas in Montelaterone which contains a splendid wooden Madonna of the fifteenth century and the Della Robbia women of Santa Fiora and Radicofani. We also report, in Seggiano, the Oil and Garden Museum by Daniel Spoerri and the brand new MACO Tibetan Museum in Arcidosso. Abbadia San Salvatore (26Km-46min.), Arcidosso (9Km-17min.), Castel del Piano (8Km-16min.), Castell'Azzara (34Km-52min.), Cinigiano (24Km-31min.), Piancastagnaio (28Km- 45min.), Radicofani (42Km-55min.), Roccalbegna (27Km-41min.), Santa Fiora (16Km-27min.), Seggiano (5Km-12min.), Semproniano (32Km-49min.). The Bagni San Filippo (30Km-45min.) With their very hot sulphurous water cascade are the highest spa resort and the most beautiful from a naturalistic point of view, as it is between the Amiata peak behind and the Val d ' Orcia in front. The enchanting Bagno Vignoni (21Km.-40min. By car) the baths linked to the name of Caterina da Siena and Lorenzo dei Medici. Monte Labbro as well as being a nature reserve has some buildings of historical and cultural importance on the summit, dating back to the Giurisdavidico movement of Davide Lazzaretti. Numerous local companies to visit to learn about and taste the typical products and gastronomic excellences: wine, oil, cheeses, chestnuts, mushrooms and much more.
The most distant destinations
Reachable in an hour or so by car: Still spas with San Casciano, Rapolano, Petriolo, Sarteano, Sant'Albino and Saturnia. Siena and Grosseto The nearest sea, Castiglione della Pescaia (1 h 13 min.), With its long equipped beaches boasts for years the legambiente and Italian Touring Club awards. North of Castiglione the Maremma coast has a thousand faces and a thousand wonderful beaches, Cala Violina a Scarlino, Marina di Alberese, inside the Maremma Natural Park, the beaches of Follonica and Punta Ala. To the south of Castiglione other splendid localities, Marina di Grosseto, the coast of Capalbio, the beach of Talamone, Cala di Forno. Further south, in less than two hours you can reach the wonderful Monte Argentario. In two hours by car you reach Florence, in 3 hours Rome.
